Beach Experience at Half Moon Beach, Dammam, Saudi Arabia

✍By Pancha Vismrit

Finally, here I am with my friends celebrating a long awaited day off.

I will be spending seven day long day off this week. In Malaysia, I heard people often say 'off day', which sounds weird because the term used in there doesn't actually mean 'day off'. "Not up to standard; not so good or satisfactory as usual" ? This is what it means.

In Nepal, very a few may have heard this term, I suppose. They simply say holiday, which also has a specific meaning.

If you are the person working abroad then day off would mean a lot to you. We do the same things on a daily basis, everyday for years. Day off is the only way to feel free and enjoy other stuffs.

Yeah, this is Ramadan, and during Ramadan all Muslims fast for almost a month. No restaurants are open during the day. No Muslim brothers and sisters consume food, drink, smoke, engage in sexual activity, swear words or fight or even play music from dawn to sunset.

Happy Ramadan!

Capturing the moments

Posing as the car owner, but that's not true

Looks like a toy but it's not. You've got to pay 60 Riyals for one hour, and ride in the sand.

An obedient camel sits down and lets me ride. I paid 5 Riyals only for taking pictures.

Horses are great when they make you feel taller

These photographs are not that great but memorable. They will remind me of the moments I had in Saudi Arabia, and so, Saudi Arabia will live in my memories forever.
